Gallery 3 - The Great Smoky Mountains National Park

The images from this gallery are all from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  This park is the most visited park of all of the 58 national parks.  In 2013, there were over 9.4 million visitors.  Even with this many people, there are many miles of the park that seldom see a human.

There are over 2,115 miles of streams in the park that are in either Tennessee or North Carolina. As a result, there are many waterfalls and cascades.  There are some great places to make some beautiful images.  Cades Cove and the Tremont area in the eastern part of the park as well as the roaring Form Motor Trail on the western side have countless opportunities to capture some magic light.

I lead a workshop here each fall normally in mid October - a prime time of year for fall foliage.  Use the Contact Page to ask me for more details or simply go to the Smokies Workshop Page
