Gallery 1 - North Georgia Waterfalls

Waterfalls have long been one of my favorite scenes to try to capture.  Sometimes they are loud and roaring and sometimes they are quiet and softer with smaller flow.  It depends on the year, winter snows, rains and other atmospheric conditions.  To get to many of them requires a hike.  It can be especially challenging as we try to get to the base of them and try to get a unique image.

There are many beautiful waterfalls in the southern states.  The waterfalls in this gallery are from North Georgia, an area in which I will be leading workshops starting Spring 2018.  West Virginia (Gallery 6) and North Carolina (Gallery 7) also have some beautiful waterfalls as well as the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (Gallery 3).
